To fulfill our mission, a large financial expenditure is required. It costs $6.4M to operate Labdara annually. Labdara's mortgage is $4.7M. Debt service payments total $582K annually. Capital reserve fund is $583K and is a condition of the mortgage.
Sources of funds are: the Ontario Government Ministry of Health, resident fees, Bingo, bequests, and your donations
From donations to Labdara, the Board of Directors allocates funds for priority projects : capital replacement , computer and security systems, nurse call system, etc. Donations built the entrance portico, bought resident electric beds, mattresses and lifts, outdoor furniture and awnings, backwater valve for flood prevention, sunscreen shades for resident dining rooms, etc.

Follow the instructions to make your donation to LABDARA FOUNDATION using your credit card or through Paypal.
Choose to donate once or set up monthly donations. You may also indicate that your donation is in memory or in honour of a named person.
By donating online you are helping us save on costs for processing and mailing of tax receipts. CanadaHelops will email your charitable tax receipt to your email within minutes of your making the donation. Donate as often as you'd like, from the comfort of your home.

DONATE STOCKS & MUTUAL FUNDS
If you own securities or mutual funds that have grown in value, you will pay capital gains tax when you sell them. By donating them directly to Labdara Foundation, you can eliminate this tax and receive a tax receipt equal to the value of the securities or funds transferred.
