Golden Gala Roaring Twenties

The Weston Golf and Country Club provided a lovely venue for the Labdara Nursing Home GALA held on a spectacular and warm, sunshine filled early evening on June 4th, 2016. The Roaring 20's themed dinner and dance raised $55,309 for the nursing home. These funds will pay for the video camera security system to be installed within and outside of the LABDARA Nursing Home. The goal of this year's Gala, to provide for the safety and security of our residents was met with great success. A sincere thanks goes out to Judy Kavaliauskas, Gala chair, and to her entire Gala Committee: Angele Abromaitis, Dainora Juozapavicius, Algis and Liucija Kaminskas, Genovaite Kobelskis, Raminta Nakrosius, Giedra Paulionis, Silvija Saplys, Zita Semeniuk, Stephanie Statkus, Ramune Stravinskas and Dalia Vaskevicius. They worked tirelessly for two years to ensure the success of this fundraising event. A sincere thank-you to those who attended the evening, to the generous donors of items for the silent auction, to the sponsors, and to those unable to attend, but who supported this effort by sending in donations by cheque.
