OUT VIEWING THE BLOSSOMS AT HIGH PARK

On May 15th a group of our residents accompanied by some of Labdara’s staff set out for an outing to view the many blossoming trees in Toronto’s High Park. At the start of the day, the skies were overcast and dull and our mini-bus got stuck in the high volume of traffic and so, we thought we were off to a bad start to the day. However, by the time we reached High Park’s cafe, the sun came out and we sat outdoors in the warm sunshine to enjoy our coffee and baked goods. It was a great way to celebrate the 90th birthday of our fellow resident Irene - under the blossoming trees! Following the treats and celebration we strolled around the park admiring the Japanese cherry blossoms and blooming magnolia trees. What a wonderful day spent in the beauty of nature
