THE VOLUNTEER CHRISTMAS PARTY

THE VOLUNTEER CHRISTMAS PARTY was well attended on Wednesday, Dec. 5th.  It was a lovely afternoon spent in the company of volunteers whose gift of time enriches the lives of our residents.  The contribution of our volunteers includes activities such as: friendly visiting, reading to sight-impaired residents, accompanying them on outings into the community, singing in the choir at Wednesday’s Mass, playing games of chess, contributing to the newsletter, website and Facebook pages, raising funds through Labdara’s BINGO TEAM, serving on the Board of Directors of the Labdara Foundation, etc.  Truly a very meaningful and much appreciated gift of themselves!!!  Merry Christmas to all!
